Hello Lovelies! So, just like your average girly girl, I am obsessed with makeup! Foundations, eye shadows, mascara, you name it. I've created a whole new meaning for the term "makeup junkie". Yesterday, I went on a makeup shopping spree in downtown Chicago. I purchased beauty items from Target, and Ulta. First, I went to the City Target, located on 1 S State Street. My main focus for this haul was eye shadows, but as anyone who shops, or has a shopping addiction well knows, we always end up leaving a store with more than what was intended. While looking for eye shadows, I realized that I needed my makeup essentials. From Target, I purchased a Small Angeled Brush, Contour Brush, & Powder Brush all from E.L.F Cosmetics Studio Collection. I also purchased two Baked Eyeshadows and the Makeup Mist & Set from E.L.F Cosmetics as well. E.L.F Cosmetics has to be the diamond in the ruff of drugstore cosmetics. Their items are very affordable, their eye shadows, blushes, and bronzers all have good color pay off. From there I went to Ulta also located on State Street. I went there specifically to purchase items from NYX Cosmetics. Now, I have never tried any of the items from their line; however, I have seen and heard great reviews from YouTube Beauty Gurus such as Missy Lynn & ItsMyRayeRaye. So I decided to try some of their products. I purchased four of their single eye shadows , two nude matte eye shadows, a cream blush, an eyebrow pencil, and three of their lipsticks. NYX Cosmetics items are also very affordable, and have great color pigment and pay off . The last stop I made was to my local beauty supply store. There, I purchased two MAX lip liner pencils, L.A. Girl PRO Conceal for highlighting, & KLEANCOLORS Stick Foundation for contouring. I have not tried any of the products mentioned in this post as of yet; however I will be posting about whether or not I like these products, along with their pros and cons. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to comment below, or check my Beauty page for additional information.
